Sage Intacct Pricing in 2026: Modules, Users, and the 10-User Year

Sage Intacct publishes no US price in 2026. See how modules, users, and entities shape the annual quote, and what 10 users cost on Business Central and Xero.

Sage Intacct Pricing in 2026: Modules, Users, and the 10-User Year

Sage Intacct publishes no US price per plan or per seat in 2026, so the US pricing page is a module quote with no dollar amount a board can accrue. Sage's UK site starts at £1,200 a month excluding VAT, priced in pounds. Ten Business Central Essentials users cost $80 a month each, paid yearly: $9,600 for the year.

A blank US rate card is a control problem for a CFO, because a board model cannot accrue a number the website will not print, and every price below was read on October 16, 2026. Toolradar data: Toolradar, the software directory we run, tracks 273 accounting tools as of October 16, 2026. The median cheapest paid plan is $31.67 a month across the 88 tools that publish one, on the accounting software ranking. Sage Intacct's directory page sits with the tools that show no self-serve paid price, which is why the switch list that does publish rates is Sage Intacct alternatives.

Sage Intacct is Sage's cloud financial management system for a company that has outgrown a single-entity ledger. The subscription is the close system, and the warehouse is not assumed to be inside it, so a team that needs inventory in the same database is shopping a different product.

A cloud ledger, for a CFO, is the system the board signs, so a seat price that ignores entities, revenue rules, and implementation is not yet a budget.

How much does Sage Intacct cost?

The US product is a quote, and headcount alone will not produce one. Sage's US pricing page says the plan depends on the modules included for that organization, and that each combination is fit to the client. Companies with the same posting team can still sign different annual totals. It names accounting, planning, analytics, and human capital management as areas you can add, and it never attaches a dollar to any of them. A controller who needs a number the week the board asks has to wait for the reseller, or price a ledger that prints one.

The pound floor is a UK list, and it is not the contract a US company signs. Sage's UK pricing page starts at that monthly floor, excluding 20% VAT, so a UK buyer who accrues the sticker understates the cash by the tax. The base includes 3 full users and one employee 10-pack, with further users priced incrementally, and the price per user depends on roles and modules. A requester on expenses can sit in the employee pack while a controller who posts is a full user, and the quote has to name that split or the license is overstated.

Implementation, data migration, and training are quoted separately from the software license, so the floor is software and the project is still cash. Annual or multi-year agreements can include a discount the page does not print, so a longer term is a negotiation. The UK product FAQ says the full product is a yearly subscription, billed quarterly or annually, so contract length and cash timing are separate choices.

Essentials is the only package with a cap you can read, and it lives on the UK site. The Essentials page uses the same monthly floor, bills monthly, and stops at 5 business users and 4 entities. It waives an extra implementation charge, and setup can take a few weeks, so it fits a small UK team that can live inside those caps. Full Intacct, on that comparison, adds an open API, customizable revenue recognition, the asset lifecycle, automated allocations, global consolidations, project costing, and unlimited entities. A company that consolidates or schedules revenue has left that package, so a year at the UK floor prices the smaller one.

Sage's own pages disagree on how fast you are live, which is why the order form beats the headline. The UK pricing page says you can get up and running in days and that there are no hidden costs. The FAQ on that page prices implementation outside the license, so the project still needs its own number. The US homepage says a typical implementation takes 3 to 6 months and recommends Sage's own team, which is the window a US board calendar should hold. The UK homepage requires Sage professional services or a certified partner, so an internal-only cutover is not a free path.

What the base includes, and what is another line

On the US site, core financials are six jobs, and several things a demo will show are not in that list. Sage's core financials page names accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, the general ledger, order management, and purchasing. The same page also describes dimensions, dashboards, multi-entity insights, an AP agent, and a financial assurance agent. Ask the reseller to mark which of those sit in the core line and which are modules, because a complete demo can still omit a line the invoice adds later.

Revenue rules are the line a SaaS controller should circle. Order management can attach a recognition schedule to a subscription invoice, warranty, or similar item, and generate the journals over the life of that item, which is a simple schedule without another module. Advanced ASC 606 recognition and expense amortization sit in the Contracts module, which Sage describes as an additional offer, not as one of the six core jobs. If the audit is that standard, the module has to be named on the quote. The wider set of tools for that job is revenue recognition software.

A sandbox, planning, and training show up in the demo and drop off the invoice. The US product FAQ says a sandbox, a replica of production with your data and configuration, is an additional module you request from support or the account manager, so a parallel close is its own line. The US pricing page lists planning as its own area, says it can be deployed in days, and prints no price, so a forecast in the demo is not in the subscription. If the board model already lives elsewhere, price it in FP&A software pricing, budgeting and forecasting, and the Datarails review before you buy an unpriced module. A Learning Membership for Sage University is a separate subscription, and Sage does not print that fee.

Entities and the audit trail are the other two lines that move a finance-team quote. The US homepage says you can consolidate hundreds of entities across currencies and drill from the group into one entity. It does not print a per-entity fee, so the second company is a question for the quote, and a buyer who treats the first entity as the group price will miss a line. HIPAA, on Sage's own comparison table, is available when Advanced Audit Trail is in the subscription, so a healthcare entity should price that audit module on its own. Sage also says it is the only AICPA-preferred finance solution, which matters when the external firm already knows the file and does not change the modules on the order form.

The US fit line tells you when this conversation is early. Sage's homepage says Intacct is for growing or mid-sized organizations, typically over $4 million in annual revenue or more than 20 employees. The UK Essentials page draws a different line: typically 20 or more employees and annual revenue over £2 million. A single-entity company under the US line is usually early for this quote. The QuickBooks Online review is the closer comparison for that team, and accounting software is the wider shelf.

What do 10 full users cost when a vendor prints a price?

That headcount is the scenario, and Sage's US site cannot fill the cell. The year totals below are our multiplication of rates read on October 16, 2026: monthly list price times 12, and times the full-user count where the vendor charges a full user. They leave out implementation, tax, add-on modules, Copilot Credits, and any minimum the order form adds, and the vendor did not print that headcount as a bundle.

10 full users, license only How the 10 are billed Year at the list rate
Business Central Essentials, paid yearly 10 times the seat $9,600
Business Central Premium, paid yearly 10 times the seat $13,200
Dynamics 365 Finance, paid yearly 10 times the seat $25,200
Dynamics 365 Finance Premium, paid yearly 10 times the seat $36,000
QuickBooks Online Advanced One subscription, up to 25 users $4,080
Xero Established, regular rate One organization, no per-user license fee $1,164
Sage Intacct, US Annual module quote Does not publish a price
Sage Intacct Essentials, UK Package stops at 5 business users £14,400 at the floor, and 10 business users do not fit

Business Central is the printed multi-company seat to set beside a blank Sage quote. Microsoft's pricing page includes multiple companies on Essentials and on Premium. Essentials covers finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, projects, and warehouse. Premium adds service orders and manufacturing, so a firm with no plant pays the higher seat for a factory it does not operate. The Sales Order Agent and the Payables Agent need Copilot Credits on either plan, sold apart from the user, so the seat in the glance table is not the agent bill. Team Members cover people who read, approve, and make limited updates, and billing the whole company as full users overstates the Microsoft bill the same way an all-business-user Sage quote does. The rest of that license family is on Dynamics 365.

Dynamics 365 Finance is the deeper ledger, and the year is much larger. The Finance pricing page lists both seats, paid yearly. Premium is the performance-management seat, and each Premium user includes 1,000 Copilot Credits a month, so that seat is for planners who build the model inside Microsoft. Agents on the base Finance license need credits that license does not include. Use the base seat for the subledger and the close, and read multi-entity accounting software and financial consolidation tools before paying the Finance year for a workbook of eliminations.

QuickBooks undercuts that Microsoft year and still does not answer multi-entity. Advanced shows the list rate in the glance table, with $170 beside it on the pricing page, and the FAQ caps that subscription with no added user fee. Budget the list rate, because the smaller number beside it understates the renewal. The same FAQ points multi-entity organizations to Intuit Enterprise Suite and prints no price for that suite, so a group of companies is left with the same blank cell. Inside one entity, the fork is QuickBooks vs NetSuite, not a Sage quote.

Xero is the lowest published year in the table, and the license is one organization. The US pricing page includes no per-user license fee and puts multiple currencies on Established, which suits one company invoicing in more than one currency, while a second legal entity is a different subscription. New US customers on their first organization get 80% off the base plan for 3 months. The introductory Established price is $19.40 a month, then the regular rate, so a comparison on the introductory price understates the year in the table. Compare ledgers on the regular Xero year, and use Business Central when the license has to cover more than one company.

Which row is cheapest depends on the job you wrote down. One organization and no seat multiplication points to Xero Established, the lowest published year in the table. Several legal entities and a seat Microsoft prints point to Business Central Essentials. QuickBooks Advanced is a smaller software year than that Essentials total and still sends multi-entity buyers to an unpriced suite. Sage joins that comparison only once the quote is in writing, and an open shortlist should still include the Odoo review.

Is the Sage quote worth taking?

Take the meeting when the close already breaks across entities, dimensions, or revenue rules. Sage's US homepage says more than 30,000 finance teams use the product and that hundreds of entities can consolidate in one system. That group view is what a single-entity ledger does not give the board. A department or project cut that would otherwise lengthen the chart of accounts is the job dimensions are sold to do. A contract business still scheduling revenue in a workbook needs the Contracts module on the first quote, because adding it later is another negotiation. Read the operating picture in the Sage Intacct review. When the other finalist is the operational suite, use NetSuite vs Sage Intacct.

Stay on a printed price when one entity and the posting team still fit a plan you can see. Xero Established, QuickBooks Advanced, and Business Central Essentials each tell you a software year before a sales call, which is the right path while the close is still one company. Buying Sage for a subsidiary you might add later means the US implementation window, a sandbox module, and entities the website will not price, so a future company lands on this year's budget. If orders and inventory have to share a database with the journal, NetSuite's financial management page lists accounting, billing, planning, revenue recognition, and consolidation, and it prints no price. That bill is NetSuite pricing, and the product verdict is the NetSuite review.

Skip Sage when nobody will administer it, and keep Sage's ROI out of the lender deck. The US homepage says customers see 2.5x ROI with payback in as little as 6 months and up to 5x over time, and that the close can be up to 90% faster. Those are Sage's claims, not a result from your close, so a lender shown them is seeing the vendor's marketing. The same page cites 350 or more integrations, and an integration you need still has to be named, because marketplace apps are not the core jobs. A two-person team that wanted a bank feed will pay for a configured system and then leave the dimensions unused. If the shortlist is still quote-led ledgers, the Acumatica review is the other conversation.

How we priced this

We read Sage's US pricing page, US homepage, core financials page, and order management page, plus the UK pricing page, UK homepage, and UK Essentials page, on October 16, 2026. Competitor rates come from Microsoft's Business Central and Dynamics 365 Finance pricing pages, Intuit's QuickBooks Online pricing page, and Xero's US pricing page, the same day. NetSuite's financial management page was read the same day and shows no price. The headcount years in the comparison table are our multiplication of those published rates. Sage's US pages do not print a dollar price, so the US product stays quote-only here. The Toolradar counts come from our accounting ranking, which states 273 tools as of October 16, 2026. Louis Corneloup, who founded Toolradar and Dupple, edited this page. Re-check the order form before anyone signs, because this page prices the bill and the Sage Intacct review is the product verdict.

FAQ

How much does Sage Intacct cost in 2026?

Sage does not publish a US dollar price, and the US plan is an annual subscription built from the modules in the package, so the same headcount can still produce different contracts. On the UK site the printed floor is £1,200 a month excluding VAT, and a year at that floor is £14,400. Essentials, the UK package at that floor, caps at 5 business users and 4 entities and bills monthly, so a larger finance team has already left it. The full UK subscription is yearly, billed quarterly or annually, and implementation is quoted apart from the license.

Does Sage Intacct charge per user?

Not as a rate you can read on the US site, so a per-seat model from another vendor will not forecast this bill. The UK pricing page says the base includes 3 full users and one employee 10-pack, and additional users are priced incrementally, with the per-user result depending on roles and modules. A requester on expenses or timesheets may fit the employee pack rather than a full user, and billing every requester as a full user overstates the license. A full user count past the Essentials cap is a full-subscription conversation, not the packaged floor.

Is there a free Sage Intacct plan or a self-serve trial?

No. The US pages route you to a sales quote and do not list a free plan or a trial ledger you can close, so the team cannot run a real close before it pays. The UK path is a scoping call and a demo, and the UK homepage says implementation must go through Sage professional services or a certified partner. QuickBooks lists a free plan for 1 user, which is a different product and the comparison for a company that is not yet inside Sage's fit line.

What has to be in the base before add-on modules?

On the US core financials page the six jobs are payables, receivables, cash management, the general ledger, order management, and purchasing. A quote that omits one of them is not the close system that page describes. Advanced ASC 606 work is the Contracts module, so a SaaS audit under that standard has to see it on the order form. A sandbox is an additional module, planning is its own unpriced area on the US pricing page, and a Learning Membership for training is a separate subscription. If any of those is missing from the order form, it is not in the price you are about to approve.

What do 10 users cost on Business Central, Dynamics 365 Finance, QuickBooks, and Xero?

At list rates read on October 16, 2026, 10 Business Central Essentials users are $9,600 for the year, paid yearly, and that total is the multi-company seat to set beside a blank Sage quote. The same 10 on Dynamics 365 Finance are $25,200 for the year, which is the deeper ledger to buy when the close has to live in Microsoft. QuickBooks Online Advanced is $4,080 for the year at the $340 list rate, and that subscription covers up to 25 users, while multi-entity buyers are sent to an unpriced suite. Xero Established is $1,164 for the year at the regular organization rate, with no per-user license fee, and that license is one organization. These are software totals, not Sage quotes, and they exclude implementation.

How long does Sage Intacct implementation take, and is it in the license?

Sage's US homepage says a typical implementation takes 3 to 6 months, depending on scope, and it recommends Sage's team. A US board calendar should hold that window unless the signed scope is narrower. The UK Essentials page says there is no extra implementation charge and that setup can take a few weeks, which applies to that capped package rather than a US module quote. The UK pricing FAQ says implementation, data migration, and training are quoted separately for the full subscription. A US order does not inherit that UK waiver, and a services fee counts only when the order form states it.

Does either published US page show Sage Intacct as cheaper than NetSuite?

Neither the Sage US pricing page nor NetSuite's financial management page prints a dollar price, so cheaper is not knowable until both quotes are in writing. Line the proposals up on entity count, revenue rules, full users, the sandbox, and implementation, because a lower software line that omits any of those is not the cheaper close. The side-by-side operating comparison is NetSuite vs Sage Intacct.
