Precoro Review 2026

Precoro's plan prices, what each tier adds, the user basis it does not publish, and four alternatives checked on their own pricing pages.

TL;DR

Precoro is worth it when a finance team needs purchase orders, approvals and 2- and 3-way matching in one system and can buy through a quote and a sales call. Core starts at $499 a month billed annually, which is $5,988 a year, and the pricing page shows no free plan or trial, checked on October 12, 2026.

The step that changes the bill is Automation at $999 a month billed annually. It adds real-time budget tracking, AI document processing, API access and SSO, which is $6,000 a year more than Core. Price that gap before the demo, not after it.

If an annual software line is not possible yet, Ramp has a free tier for cards and bill pay, with procurement sold as an add-on. For one per-user account that covers AP and purchasing, BILL is the closest comparison, and Procurify is the quote-led alternative most like Precoro.

  • Best for: Finance and purchasing teams that want POs, approvals and 3-way matching in one system, and accept a quote-led buy.
  • Price as of October 15, 2026: Core and AP Module from $499/mo, Automation $999/mo, all billed annually; Enterprise custom.
  • Procure-to-pay software with a lower entry tier, a higher AI and budget tier, and no free plan.
  • Billing basis: Annual on the listed plans
  • Free plan or trial: None published
  • User access: Tier-based, no count per tier
  • Enterprise: Custom quote

Pros

  • Core covers requests, purchase orders, receipts, invoices and 2- and 3-way matching on one plan.
  • Document storage, custom fields and workflows are listed as unlimited across the comparison table.
  • The page cites SOC 2 Type II compliance, AES-256 encryption and an iOS and Android app.

Cons

  • No free plan or trial is published, and every entry point is a demo booking or a quote request.
  • Core and Automation list user access as tier-based with no user count, so the per-user cost cannot be worked out.
  • Real-time budget tracking, API access and SSO sit on the Automation tier, which is $6,000 a year above Core.

Buy Core when the company needs purchase requests, purchase orders, receipts and invoices matched in one system, and when QuickBooks Online or Xero is the ledger, since ERP connectors sit higher up the price list.

Buy Automation only when budget tracking, AI document processing, PunchOut catalogs or API access already has an owner who will use it in the first year. The AP Module starts at the same price as Core and suits a team whose main problem is invoices.

Toolradar data: only 28% of the 559 finance tools in our catalog include a free or freemium plan, as of October 2026. That is a finance-wide figure, not a procurement one, but Precoro's pricing page shows no free plan, so it sits on the paid side of that split.

Methodology: the Precoro pricing page, plus the pricing pages of Procurify, BILL, Ramp and Pipefy, all read on October 12, 2026. Prices are each vendor's published starting prices. Dupple has not used the product, so this review rests on published terms and our catalog data. Anything labelled as our arithmetic is ours, not the vendor's.

What is Precoro?

Precoro is a procure-to-pay platform. One account covers purchase requests, purchase orders, receipts, invoices, approvals, vendor records and expense management, with a mobile app for iOS and Android. The pricing page sells three software packages and one custom tier.

Core is the purchasing tier, Automation adds the AI and budget layer, and the AP Module sells invoice handling as a standalone product at the same starting price as Core. Enterprise is a quote.

Core lists PRs, POs, receipts, invoices, 2- and 3-way matching, automated approvals, prepaid virtual cards, vendor management and expense management, with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Slack and Microsoft Teams as integrations. Those are the daily purchasing jobs.

The AP Module lists invoices, intelligent AP automation, e-invoicing, budget management, AI expenses, prepaid virtual cards, vendor onboarding and automated approvals. A team whose only problem is invoices should compare the AP Module with Core on the invoice workflow before it picks a tier.

How Precoro works

The buying path starts with a demo or a quote request, and every plan on the pricing page is sold that way. Precoro's FAQ says no formal contract is required: signing up accepts its terms and privacy policy, and a separate agreement is available on request.

Payment is by card or bank transfer, in US dollars, British pounds or euros, with other currencies discussed case by case.

Standard onboarding includes two consultation sessions and a one-hour training session. Concierge setup is a paid option with up to ten consultations, five training sessions, delegated data import and a guided test phase for each user type, and its price is not on the page.

The FAQ says onboarding typically takes 4 to 6 weeks, while the implementation section gives 2 to 8 weeks to go live. Ask which timeline applies to your team size before you plan a close around it.

Approvals run on rules: purchase requests, purchase orders, invoices, expenses and supplier records each have an approval path, with role-based permissions and an approval SLA. Core verifies and tracks invoices and runs 2- and 3-way matching. AI document processing moves to the Automation tier.

Precoro key features

Three-way matching on the Core tierEssential
Core matches POs, receipts and invoices, with automated approvals on top. Matching is the control that stops an invoice being paid for goods nobody received, so it is the first feature to test in the demo.
Automation adds the budget and AI layerEssential
Real-time budget tracking, AI document processing, AI agents, a supplier portal, RFPs, API access and SSO sit on the Automation tier. A team that wants budget checks at the requisition step pays $6,000 a year more than Core to get them.
Mobile approvals and unlimited records
The page lists a procurement app for iOS and Android, so approvers can act on requests away from a desk. The comparison table also lists document storage, custom fields and workflows as unlimited.
Security claims without a price tag
Precoro says it is SOC 2 Type II compliant and will share audit reports on request. It also cites GDPR and CCPA compliance, AES-256 encryption, 2FA and 99.9% uptime. IP whitelisting and a choice of US or EU servers are listed on Enterprise.
PunchOut catalogs on the Automation tier
Official PunchOut connections cover 12 named suppliers, including Amazon Business, Grainger and Home Depot, and a universal connector handles the rest. Catalog buying is a reason to pay for Automation only when those suppliers already carry the spend.
Add-ons with no price
Multiple companies, integrations, concierge setup and dedicated support are sold as add-ons, each with a Book a Demo call to action and no price. A multi-entity buyer should ask for those lines in the quote before comparing Core's starting price with a rival's total.

Precoro pricing

Precoro's pricing page, read October 12, 2026, lists Core, Automation and the AP Module at starting prices, each billed annually, with Enterprise on quote. The page shows no monthly-billing price, no free plan and no trial.

Our arithmetic at those starting prices: Core and the AP Module come to $5,988 a year each, and Automation to $11,988 a year, a $6,000 gap. Those totals leave out onboarding, Concierge setup, and the multi-company and integration add-ons, which the page sells without a price.

Users are the other unknown. Core and Automation list user access as tier-based, with no count per tier, and Enterprise lists unlimited users. A per-user cost cannot be worked out from the page, so that figure has to come from a quote.

Payment is by card or bank transfer. Cancellation takes 30 days' notice, access runs to the end of the billing period, and a full data export is available on request.

Precoro pros and cons

What we like

  • Core covers requests, purchase orders, receipts, invoices and 2- and 3-way matching on one plan.
  • Document storage, custom fields and workflows are listed as unlimited across the comparison table.
  • The page cites SOC 2 Type II compliance, AES-256 encryption and an iOS and Android app.

What could be better

  • No free plan or trial is published, and every entry point is a demo booking or a quote request.
  • Core and Automation list user access as tier-based with no user count, so the per-user cost cannot be worked out.
  • Real-time budget tracking, API access and SSO sit on the Automation tier, which is $6,000 a year above Core.

Who Precoro is for

Precoro fits a company with enough purchasing or AP volume to justify a yearly Core subscription, and a finance lead who will own the approval rules. It suits a team that runs purchase orders through email or spreadsheets today, since the Core workflow moves requests, approvals and 3-way matching into one account.

Skip it when the budget cannot carry a fixed annual software line before the first purchase is matched. Skip it too when the spend is mostly card spend, where a free card tier such as Ramp Free covers the job.

Skip Automation unless budget tracking, AI document processing, PunchOut catalogs or API access have an owner in the first year.

Compare Precoro with Procurify if the process is quote-led on both sides and the Pro-user count is the cost to negotiate. Compare it with BILL if AP, AR and purchasing should sit in one per-user account, and read the BILL review for the AP detail.

The category shortlist is in the procurement guide, and the card side of the same decision is in the Ramp vs BILL comparison.

The bottom line

Pay for Precoro when a purchasing process already runs on email and spreadsheets, a finance lead will own the approval rules, and the budget can carry $5,988 a year before setup and add-ons. Start on Core, and move to Automation only when budget tracking, AI document processing, PunchOut catalogs or API access has an owner in the first year.

Choose Procurify when the process is quote-led on both sides and the Pro-user count is the cost to negotiate. Choose BILL when AP, AR and purchasing belong in one per-user account.

Choose Ramp when the card program comes first and purchase orders can wait. Check Pipefy when a free workflow tool covers up to 10 users and 5 processes.

The wider category sits in the AP automation guide and the spend management guide.

Frequently asked questions

Is Precoro worth it in 2026?

Yes, for a team that needs purchase orders, approvals and 2- and 3-way matching in one system and can commit to Core's annual price. It is the wrong buy when the budget cannot carry a fixed annual software line, when the spend is mostly card spend, or when the first year must be free. Pay for Automation only when budget tracking, AI document processing, PunchOut catalogs or API access will be used in the first year.

How much does Precoro cost?

Core starts at $499 a month billed annually, the AP Module starts at the same price as Core, and Automation starts at $999 a month billed annually, all as shown on the pricing page read October 12, 2026. Enterprise is a custom quote. At those starting prices a year costs $5,988 on Core or the AP Module and $11,988 on Automation, before onboarding, Concierge setup and add-ons, which the page does not price.

Is there a free Precoro plan or trial?

No. The pricing page lists no free plan and no trial. Every plan is sold through a quote request, and the only other entry point is a demo booking. Precoro's FAQ says no formal contract is required, since signing up accepts its terms and privacy policy, and cancellation needs 30 days' notice, with access until the billing period ends.

How many users does Precoro include?

Precoro does not say. Core and Automation list user access as tier-based with no count per tier, and Enterprise lists unlimited users. Without a published per-user price, the cost per user can only come from a quote. For comparison, BILL lists Corporate at $89 per user per month, and Procurify prices on Pro users with Basic users unlimited.

How does Precoro compare with Procurify?

Both are quote-led purchasing platforms with approvals and purchase orders, but only Precoro publishes starting prices, for Core and for Automation. Procurify publishes none. Its base Purchasing package includes approval routing, budgets, the mobile app and SOC 2 Type 2 security, and it prices on Pro users. Precoro's AI document processing and real-time budget tracking sit on the Automation tier.

How long does Precoro take to set up?

Precoro's FAQ says onboarding typically takes 4 to 6 weeks, and its implementation section gives 2 to 8 weeks to go live. Standard onboarding includes two consultation sessions and a one-hour training session. Concierge setup, with up to ten consultations and delegated data import, is a paid option whose price the page does not give, so ask for it in the quote.
