Hyperproof Review 2026
Hyperproof's pricing gap, what its SOX templates cover, its pros and cons, and four SOX alternatives to price against.
Hyperproof is worth a demo if your security team already runs SOC 2 or ISO 27001 on it and you want SOX in the same platform. It publishes no price, though. Its pricing page names no plan, gives no dollar figure and mentions no free plan or trial.
The strength is breadth. The framework library covers more than 160 frameworks, and the frameworks page lists SOX with templates for internal controls over financial reporting and IT general controls. The catch for a finance buyer is that SOX is missing from the twelve frameworks on the homepage menu. If SOX is the program you need to run, Workiva and Optro belong on the shortlist too.
Key factsBest for: Security and compliance teams that run SOC 2 or ISO 27001…
- AI-powered GRC platform with a large framework library, SOX ICFR and ITGC templates, and quote-only pricing.
- Frameworks: 160+ supported, per the vendor
- Toolradar rating: 4.6 out of 5 from 338 reviews
- Free plan: None listed on the pricing page
- Headquarters: Seattle, Washington
Pros
- Its frameworks page lists SOX, with templates for internal controls over financial reporting and IT general controls
- Single sign-on works through Azure OIDC, JumpCloud or Okta SAML, and multi-factor authentication is supported
- The vendor says it holds a SOC 2 Type II report, and role and permission controls are listed for administrators
Cons
- No plan names or dollar figures, so a budget comparison waits for a demo and a written quote
- SOX is one of more than 160 frameworks and is missing from the twelve names in the homepage framework menu
- The public pages describe no SOX workflow beyond the templates, so the SOX scope needs proof in a demo

Hyperproof has no published price to compare, so this review works from what its public pages say. Methodology: this review uses the pricing, frameworks, integrations and home pages, checked on 10 October 2026.
The company's location comes from the site footer. Vendor statements are reported as the vendor's own claims.
Toolradar data: Toolradar tracks 338 reviews of Hyperproof across G2 and Capterra, averaging 4.6 out of 5.
G2 accounts for 222 of them at 4.5, and Capterra for 116 at 4.8. The figure comes from Toolradar's Hyperproof listing, last checked 17 September 2026.
The four alternatives are SOX products whose own pages name SOX as a product, so the comparison stays on one scope.
Nothing here comes from hands-on use. Hyperproof publishes no figure to check against, so this review adds no third-party price estimate.
What is Hyperproof?
Hyperproof is an AI-powered governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platform. Its homepage says it automates control mapping, removes duplicated work across frameworks and turns risk data into reporting for leadership. It markets to security, compliance and risk teams, and to buyers in healthcare, technology, fintech, aviation and manufacturing. The footer lists a Seattle, Washington address.
How Hyperproof works
The platform maps controls to the frameworks an organization has to meet. The homepage says this cuts duplicate work. It also prints three outcome figures: a 66% reduction in duplicative controls, $150K saved per year on control orchestration, and 90% improved stakeholder visibility into risks.
None of them has a customer name or a method beside it, so read them as the vendor's own outcomes. Evidence comes from cloud storage and task tools through its integrations, and an SDK covers custom sync. Sign-in runs through Azure, JumpCloud or Okta, and the vendor says it holds a SOC 2 Type II report.
Hyperproof key features
Hyperproof pricing
Hyperproof publishes no price for any plan, so there is no dollar figure to compare. Checked on 10 October 2026, the pricing page lists no plan names, no dollar figure and no billing term.
It mentions no free plan and no trial. Its sales routes are Get a Demo in the header and Request Proposal in the footer.
The page does not say what the frameworks cost, how many users are included, or what implementation costs.
Those lines set the first-year total, so get each one in writing. It also does not say whether the SOX templates are priced apart from the platform. Ask that before you request a proposal.
A worked team cost would be a guess, so this review makes none.
The useful comparison is with the other SOX sellers, which publish no figure either. Workiva's pricing page describes good, better and best packaging for some solutions, with no dollar figure.
SAI360's pricing page says pricing is built around the risk, compliance and ethics programs a buyer runs. Toolradar also keeps profiles for Workiva and SAI360.

Hyperproof pros and cons
What we like
- Its frameworks page lists SOX, with templates for internal controls over financial reporting and IT general controls
- Single sign-on works through Azure OIDC, JumpCloud or Okta SAML, and multi-factor authentication is supported
- The vendor says it holds a SOC 2 Type II report, and role and permission controls are listed for administrators
What could be better
- No plan names or dollar figures, so a budget comparison waits for a demo and a written quote
- SOX is one of more than 160 frameworks and is missing from the twelve names in the homepage framework menu
- The public pages describe no SOX workflow beyond the templates, so the SOX scope needs proof in a demo
Who Hyperproof is for
Hyperproof suits a team that already runs SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA controls on a GRC platform and wants SOX in the same system. The framework library and the security features point that way.
A security or compliance lead who owns several audits gets the most from one control set mapped to many frameworks.
It fits a finance team poorly when SOX is the only job. A controller who needs a SOX program built around the close, the control matrix and the external auditor will find the public pages thin on that workflow.
In that case, demo Workiva, Optro and SAI360 first. For the close itself, our close management ranking and the FloQast review cover reconciliations and checklists.
Best Hyperproof alternatives
If Hyperproof is not the right fit, these are the closest options.

The bottom line
Hyperproof earns a demo from a compliance team that wants SOX and its security frameworks in one tool. It earns no budget line until a written quote is in hand. On its public pages, SOX appears as a framework entry with ICFR and ITGC templates, not as a product of its own.
Put Workiva or Optro first when SOX is the program itself.
Keep Hyperproof on the list when your security team already runs its controls there. For Optro's profile, read our AuditBoard review. For the head-to-head on scope, read our SOX compliance software ranking.
