FloQast Review 2026
FloQast's three quote-only packages, what the close and AI tiers include, honest pros and cons, and four alternatives to price against.
FloQast is worth a demo for a finance team that runs its close from checklists and reconciliations, but it publishes no price for any of its three packages. The packages are Close Management, Close AI and Risk and Compliance. Each one is sold through Contact Sales, and the vendor says there are no per-user fees.
The biggest strength is the base package. It covers the close checklist, account reconciliations, accounting operations, projects and ERP integration in one platform. The biggest catch is Close AI, the tier FloQast calls most popular, which you can only price after a sales call. If reconciliation is the main problem, BlackLine is the name to put beside it.
Key factsBest for: Controllers and CFOs running a checklist-driven close with…
- Close checklist, reconciliations and AI close tools on one platform, sold by quote only.
- Founded: 2013
- Customers: 3,500+ global companies (vendor claim)
- Free plan: None listed on the pricing page
- Toolradar rating: 4.7 out of 5 from 1,521 reviews
Pros
- One base package covers the close checklist, account reconciliations, accounting operations, projects, AI assistant and ERP integration
- No per-user fees, and packages scale with results rather than seat count, according to the pricing page
- ISO 42001 certified and SOC 2 Type II compliant, per the home page, and Risk and Compliance is sold on its own
Cons
- No list price on any package, so a budget comparison waits for a sales call
- Implementation cost, contract length and minimums are missing from the public pages, so the first-year total stays open
- No AI-only option: Close AI includes all of Close Management plus the AI features, so matching alone is not sold separately

FloQast publishes no list price for its three packages, so the verdict depends on scope. It fits a controller who runs the close from a checklist and signs off many reconciliations, and a buyer cannot price it before a sales call.
This review uses FloQast's own pages, checked on 10 October 2026: the pricing page, the About page and the home page.
The pricing page says the packages scale with the buyer's results rather than seat count. One number comes from our own data. Toolradar data: Toolradar tracks 1,521 reviews of FloQast across G2 and Capterra, averaging 4.7 out of 5.
The number comes from Toolradar's FloQast listing. Methodology: vendor statements are reported as the vendor's own claims. The four alternatives are products a buyer weighing a close platform is likely to price against FloQast. Nothing here comes from hands-on use of the product.
What is FloQast?
FloQast is an accounting platform built around the month-end close. Its core product, Close Management, runs the close checklist, account reconciliations, accounting operations and projects. It also includes an AI assistant and ERP integration.
The company says it was founded in 2013 by Mike Whitmire, a former auditor and accountant. Its home page says it is trusted by 3,500+ global companies. Its site lists six ERPs it works with.
How FloQast works
Once the close runs in FloQast, the checklist gives every close task one home. Reconciliations are tied out and signed off in the same place, and one-off projects can be tracked to a deadline. Close AI adds AI agents, transaction matching and journal entry posting on top of that base.
The pricing page says the AI layer follows COSO requirements for generative AI governance. The home page says every AI decision is traceable and exportable, and that the platform is ISO 42001 certified and SOC 2 Type II compliant.
Those are vendor statements, so ask for the current certificates before you rely on them in an audit.
FloQast key features
FloQast pricing
FloQast publishes no list price for any package, so there is no dollar figure to compare yet. The pricing page lists three packages, each with a Contact Sales button. Close Management holds the close checklist, account reconciliations, accounting operations, projects, the AI assistant and ERP integration.
Close AI adds AI agents, AI matching, automated reconciliations and journal entry posting, and the page labels it the most popular package. Risk and Compliance covers controls, audit readiness, enterprise risk management and operational audits.
It can be bought alone or with any Close package.
The page says packages scale with the buyer's results, not seat count. It does not say what implementation costs, how long a contract runs or whether there is a minimum. Those items usually drive the first-year total.
Ask for them in writing with the quote, along with the package names, the entities in scope and any charge for the ERP connection.
FloQast's pricing page is the source for every package statement here, read on 10 October 2026.
There is no public number to model a team cost on, and a worked example would be a guess.
The useful comparison is structural. Close Management covers the checklist and reconciliation scope. Close AI is the step up if matching and journal entries are the goal. Risk and Compliance is the add-on if controls testing is in the budget.
Price the quote against the scope you need, not against the tier names. If AI agents are the reason you are looking, AI agents for finance explains where they fit a finance stack.
| Plan | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Close Management | Contact sales | Close checklist, account reconciliations, accounting operations, projects, AI assistant and ERP integration |
| Close AI | Contact sales | Close Management plus AI agents, AI matching, automated reconciliations and journal entry posting |
| Risk and Compliance | Contact sales | Financial controls, audit readiness, enterprise risk management and operational audits, alone or with any Close package |
FloQast pros and cons
What we like
- One base package covers the close checklist, account reconciliations, accounting operations, projects, AI assistant and ERP integration
- No per-user fees, and packages scale with results rather than seat count, according to the pricing page
- ISO 42001 certified and SOC 2 Type II compliant, per the home page, and Risk and Compliance is sold on its own
What could be better
- No list price on any package, so a budget comparison waits for a sales call
- Implementation cost, contract length and minimums are missing from the public pages, so the first-year total stays open
- No AI-only option: Close AI includes all of Close Management plus the AI features, so matching alone is not sold separately
Who FloQast is for
FloQast fits a controller or CFO who runs the close from a checklist, signs off many reconciliations, and wants audit controls in the same tool. It also suits a finance team on one of the supported ERPs, such as Sage Intacct, that wants one vendor for close and controls.
Risk and Compliance can be bought with or without a close package. A team still choosing its ERP should read NetSuite vs Sage Intacct first.
It is a poor fit for a team that needs a price before any sales conversation.
A small team with a light close may pay for scope it does not use. A company with a simple ledger and few entries should check whether a lighter close tool covers it before booking a demo.

The bottom line
FloQast earns a shortlist place for a controller who runs the close from a checklist and wants reconciliations and AI close tools in one place. The base package covers the checklist, reconciliations, projects and ERP integration.
Risk and Compliance adds controls. Those are the lines to price. Pick Numeric when your ERP is one of the four it names and you want close management laid over it. Pick BlackLine when reconciliation volume is the problem.
Pick Rillet when the ledger itself is what you are replacing.
